It all started on the Snapchat social network last Monday. A dozen 15-year-olds insult each other and offer to meet to fight. The meeting takes place in stride at the foot of the castle park in Saint-Priest, near Lyon.

According to information from Progress , a fight breaks out between two boys who begin by exchanging punches. Until one of them takes out a shotgun and shoots several times. His direct opponent was hit in the leg by three shots, while a young girl, who attended the scene as a spectator, was also hit by a shot.

Two suspects brought before the prosecution

Following these shots, the gang of young people dispersed, forcing the police to embark on a chase to find the holder of the pistol.

Once caught, the suspect was immediately placed in police custody, as were all of his comrades. The majority of the gang released the victim from the police just after being heard.

Only two teenagers, the author of the shootings and an individual who had filmed the scene, were to be brought this Wednesday before the juvenile judge for acts of violence aggravated by two circumstances: the weapon and the meeting. The family of the injured girl also filed a complaint against the alleged shooter.
