“The Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Health and the head of Rospotrebnadzor will tell the president about what is being done to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, what measures are being taken,” TASS quoted Peskova as saying.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the composition of the operational headquarters to prevent the importation into Russia and the spread of a new type of coronavirus.

The Ministry of Health of Russia has prepared temporary guidelines for the treatment of a new coronavirus.

According to the latest official data, the number of people infected in China reached 5974, 132 people died from the virus.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, there are no Russians among those infected.
