According to the judgment, the man has sent about 20 packages to customers in Sweden containing weapon parts. The investigation against him began when, three years ago, a Swedish police seized a weapon from the manufacturer Glock in a home in Fagersta. The weapon's serial number had been removed but with the help of a special code from the manufacturer, the weapon could be traced to a private person in the city of Seattle in the US state of Washington.

The person had in turn sold the weapon to the now convicted man, who was arrested only a year later. Then he had a firearm on him that, like Fagersta's, had a serial number removed.

During the trial, several police officers from Sweden participated as witnesses. It was in connection with the testimonies that it emerged that some of the Swedish customers belonged to a Nazi group, reports the news agency AP.
