The first place in the ranking of popular railway directions was taken by Belarus - almost half (47.7%) of all train tickets (among foreign destinations) got there.

In second place is Ukraine, where in 2019 18.3% of railway tickets were purchased. Analysts also note that compared to 2018, demand in this country decreased by 5.8%.

The third place among the countries where Russians most often travel by train is Finland (8% of total sales).

The top 10 also included Kazakhstan (6.7%), Estonia (3.4%), Latvia (2.9%), Moldova (1.9%), Uzbekistan (1.2%), Azerbaijan (0, 9%) and Tajikistan (0.5%).
