Division Manager Svante Sjöstedt explains the long response times with lack of staffing. Now nurses have been newly recruited and the situation is better.

- It was also a bigger rush than we expected and the staff were not really warm in the clothes yet, explains Svante Sjöstedt.

15 minutes wait

Today, 1177 has an average response time of 15 minutes.

- We are not completely satisfied with that, says Svante Sjöstedt. We hope that we will be able to bring them down further as the business begins to settle down.

There are still long response times

Eva-Lena Plantin is a counseling nurse and one of the people with whom the Sörmlands residents come in contact when they seek counseling. Eva-Lena believes that response times are reasonable today, but at certain times the load is higher than usual.

- For example, on Monday mornings, we have higher pressures.

How long do you have to wait for a Monday morning?

- It can be around 45 minutes, it happens.
