Frenchman Alexis Pinturault ran into slalom in Schladming on Tuesday against Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen who consolidated his lead in the general classification of the Alpine Ski World Cup.

Kristoffersen, winner for the fourth time in his night slalom career in the Austrian resort, outstripped Pinturault, who remained on two back-to-back slalom runs, 34 / 100th and the Swiss Daniel Yule by 83 / 100th.

In the general classification, the Courchevel skier lost ground with his 722 points over the Norwegian (841 pts), but climbed to 2nd place.

Author of the 30th lap in the first round after a huge foul, Clément Noël managed a sensational comeback to fail at the foot of the podium (4th to 99 / 100th of the day's winner), two days after his third place in the Kitzbühel slalom.
