17 people in Östergötland are forced to move from the Migration Board's housing

14 people in Finspång municipality and 3 people in Valdemarsvik municipality lose their housing and their daily allowance from the Migration Board at the end of January.

The reason why the persons can no longer stay in the Migration Board's housing is a chamber court judgment which says that anyone who has been granted a residence permit, but who is not covered by the Housing Act, is not entitled to housing and daily allowance from the Migration Board.

In total in the country there are about 400 people with residence permits who soon need to move from the Migration Board's housing, the authority writes on its site.

The majority of those affected are persons with a residence permit for upper secondary education.
