A resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Viktor Gavrilov, turned to his children, whom he abandoned on January 26 in Sheremetyevo. In a video published by SK Russia, a 41-year-old man apologizes "to his beloved sons."
"Please forgive me. I love you so much. You are the only thing in my life, its meaning. I showed weakness, was afraid that I couldn’t handle it, so I left you at the airport in Moscow, knowing and understanding that there are many people around, police officers, airport employees, that you are not in danger, ”says Gavrilov.
The man, he said, hoped to find work and return for the children, "so that he would never leave again." He said that he was going to give them the life that he himself was deprived of.
“I really hope that we will be together soon. I love you very much. Wait for me, please, ”added a resident of the Khabarovsk Territory.
On January 28, Gavrilov confessed to the department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Bataisk, Rostov Region, where he confessed. Moscow investigators are working with him. It is assumed that business will be handled in the capital, where Gavrilov will soon be transported. A criminal case was opened against the man on January 27 under article 125 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Abandonment in danger”). He may face imprisonment for up to one year, arrest for up to three months, forced or corrective labor for up to one year, or a fine of up to 80 thousand rubles.
“I'll pick them up later”
Last Sunday, Gavrilov flew with his two sons Vladislav and Ivan, born in 2011 and 2014, from Khabarovsk to Moscow. He left the children alone, putting in their backpacks their birth certificates, a copy of his passport, the school diary of his eldest son and a note: “Please help my children. Please identify them in a temporary shelter house, because at the moment I have a very difficult financial situation. I'll pick them up later. I ask the children not to be separated. Documents for children in a backpack. Sorry, but at the moment I have no other choice. ”
Children were discovered by airport security officers. Their father had already flown to Rostov-on-Don. Since there was still no orientation from Moscow to him at that time, the man freely traveled by bus to the station. He got to the recordings of CCTV cameras, he was also recognized by the driver of the bus on which he was driving, according to Baza. At the train station, a man rented a room in one of the hostels and the next morning he left for Bataysk.
In Bataisk, Gavrilov was going to find a job that, judging by the resume, he seriously needed. As RT found out, the man graduated from vocational school No. 11 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur with a degree in electric gas welder of the 3rd category. From 2009 to 2016, he worked as a security guard in various private security companies.
Victor complained that now he was paid little, he was going to “earn money for his family”, he was ready to work as a laborer in another city six days a week and on an irregular schedule.
According to REN TV, the money for a ticket to Moscow was given to Gavrilov by a neighbor who specifically took a loan in her name for these purposes. Leaving, Gavrilov withdrew another 100 thousand rubles from the card.

After finding the children at the airport, the police identified the boys' mother. 29-year-old Olga Pushkareva found out about the act of her ex-husband from social networks. She lives in Komsomolsk-on-Amur with her new husband and is in her seventh month of pregnancy. The current family of Olga did not know that she has children.
The woman said she divorced Viktor Gavrilov in June 2018. Prior to this, she had already run away from the family once: then everyone in Khabarovsk was looking for her, and her husband promised 80 thousand rubles for any information about the woman.
While they were married, the man, according to Olga, beat not only her, but also the children: “Permanent assault, humiliation of personality, humiliation of dignity. There were moments of mockery even of children. That is, he raised his hand to the children. There were moments that I protected the children, but it flew to me doubly. ”
Also, according to Pushkaryova, her ex-husband cut her several times with a knife, became the culprit of four concussions and displacement of the nasal septum, and once shaved her baldness. At the same time, according to regional authorities, the woman did not contact the police. This fact is being verified.

Olga Pushkaryova said she was ready to take her sons to her. Children have already bought tickets to Khabarovsk, from there they and the volunteers will go to Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The press service of the governor and the government of the Khabarovsk Territory told TASS that two specialists from the Ministry of Social Protection of the Population and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Territory would go for the children. Before this, it is necessary to draw up a power of attorney from the mother of the children, but so far this procedure has been postponed: according to preliminary information, the mother has started premature birth and she is in the hospital. On February 4, a meeting will be held with the commission, where it will be decided where and with whom the boys will live.
