A drama of loneliness. On Tuesday, the lifeless body of a woman in her sixties was discovered at her home in Ménéac, in Morbihan, a stone's throw from the border with the Côtes d'Armor. According to investigators, the victim's head was mutilated, his dogs having devoured part of his face, reports Ouest-France.

It was an enumerator who alerted the gendarmes. When he knocked on the door of the house, the agent found the door closed but was worried about hearing noise inside. According to information from the Actu.fr site, the victim had been dead for several days. The investigators dismiss the criminal track and favor the hypothesis of a natural death.

The woman lived with a dozen dogs. The latter were taken care of and placed in a kennel.
