The Paris Stock Exchange was weighed down (-2.68%) Monday by renewed fears about the Chinese coronavirus which now affects ten countries and its potentially harmful consequences on the world economy.

The CAC 40 index lost 161.24 points to 5,863.02 points, in a sustained trade volume of 5 billion euros. On Friday, it finished up 0.88%.
