The exhibition was created by the author and photographer Sanna Sjöswärds, together with Västerås Cathedral. For three years she has collected the stories and photographed the survivors.
The pictures are set up as a maze along the South side ship in the cathedral and the exhibition has no beginning or end. Visitors can also scan the QR code on each image which leads to a longer interview with the survivor.
In the future, the Swedish Church plans to show the exhibition in more churches around Sweden.
