It was during Monday morning, at 09 o'clock, that the power outage occurred. At first, almost 2,000 homes were without electricity, but after a while the figure was down to just over 800.
- It is a power station that is without electricity. We have two cables that supply it with electricity. Last week, one cable broke and now the other has stopped supplying power, says Cecilia Erdalen at Gothenburg Energy's press service.
Now a backup unit is being set up and the forecast is that the power will be back at lunch.
