Some retirees choose to continue their work after turning 65, while others retire for a period, and then return to work in full or part time.

- I think it's something very positive. On the one hand, it is true that municipalities and regions have great recruitment needs, so this is the staff that is really needed in the business. And what is extra good is that there are people who have a lot of experience, says Caroline Olsson, section manager at the employer policy department of SKR.

Across the country, there are municipal and regional activities that would not do without pensioners who continue to work. And with more and more elderly residents, the issue of recruitment for municipalities and regions will become an ever greater challenge in the future.
