Matvienko called crazy words of the Prime Minister of Poland about World War II

2020-01-27T00:25:10.572Z

Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko considers political madness an article by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravecki in the Politico publication on World War II.

“One of the latest examples of such political, I would say, insanity was a recent article by the Prime Minister of Poland, declaring that the Red Army did not liberate Warsaw, and the Soviet Union was no less an accomplice of Nazi Germany. Those who allow themselves such a blasphemous lie should be simultaneously denied reason, and conscience, and memory, ”Matvienko quoted TASS.

She noted that such statements are an insult to veterans, 600 thousand soldiers and officers, true Polish patriots, "who fought shoulder to shoulder with Soviet soldiers for the freedom of their homeland."

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on an article by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravecki in a Politico publication on World War II, calling it another criminal attempt to rewrite history.
