The police officers of Villeurbanne found themselves faced with a raging man Saturday evening around 11 pm, during an intervention on avenue Roger-Salengro. According to Le Progrès , the suspect punched his partner while pulling her hair. He then took a knife in order to stick it in his own leg.
Still according to Le Progrès , the police then faced an alcoholic individual who was difficult to control. They therefore used their taser to be able to arrest the suspect. He was taken into police custody and admitted the facts. He will be presented in front of the Villeurbanne justice house in March.
