Ilya Gudkov appointed head of the Russian environmental operator


Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has appointed Ilya Gudkov as the head of the Russian environmental operator.

“To appoint Ilya Eduardovich Gudkov as the General Director of the Russian environmental operator, a comprehensive public solid waste management system for the Russian Federation, for a term of three years,” the relevant decree reads.

The company was created by presidential decree of January 14 to form an integrated system for the management of municipal solid waste.

Previously, Mishustin appointed Pavel Kadochnikov Deputy Minister of Finance.

Also, Lyudmila Bokova became Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media.
