A Boeing from the Afghan airline Ariana Afghan Airlines crashed in Afghanistan on Monday, local authorities report. These do not yet know whether there are survivors. A top executive from Ariana Afghan Airlines, however, denies that the crashed aircraft belongs to the airline.
According to local media there were 83 passengers aboard the aircraft. The plane crashed in the province of Ghazni.
It would be a domestic flight en route from the western city of Herat to the capital Kabul in the east of the country.
