The French men's rugby team VII lost in the final of the stage in Hamilton (New Zealand), counting for the world circuit, against the All Blacks, reigning world champions, 27 to 5 Sunday.

The Blues, who dismissed England in the semi-finals (10-5), were playing their first final on the world circuit since the one lost in April 2019 in Hong Kong against Fiji (21-7).

The French have conceded five tries, including a hat-trick from Scott Curry. The only test of the Blues was entered by Tavite Veredamu (5th minute).
