A spokesman for the Palestinian presidency waved today, Sunday, the dissolution of the Palestinian Authority, in response to the forthcoming US peace plan with Israel known as the "Deal of the Century".

Nabil Abu Rdainah told the official Palestinian radio that the Palestinian leadership will hold internal meetings at all levels to discuss the situation when the American century deal is presented.

Abu Rudeina said that all options, including the fate and future of the Palestinian Authority, will be discussed, provided that any decision taken is supported by Arabs and internationally to reject any targeting of Palestinian rights.

Abu Rudeina warned any party with dealing with the American plan "because of the abolition of Jerusalem's files and the refugees and the inalienable rights of the Palestinians, and paying attention to the serious repercussions that will be imposed on the entire region."

For his part, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Ahmed Majdalani, stated that no Palestinian project would exclude the Palestinian state with its capital, Jerusalem, and the solution of the refugee files, settlements, and borders.

In a statement, Majdalani considered that the upcoming announcement of the "deal of the century" has a political function at this time, which is serving the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the elections scheduled for next March.

He added that «the new issue is an attempt to delineate this liquidation project in a form that appears as if the final status will be demarcated separately from the national rights of the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian official asked the international community and Arab states to "stick to the resolutions of international legitimacy and law, because the aim of this liquidation project is to create an alternative reference for them."

A few days ago, US President Donald Trump invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Benny Gantz to visit Washington in order to acquaint them with the deal of the century.

Netanyahu, for his part, described the upcoming announcement by the US President of his plan for peace in the Middle East, "The Deal of the Century", as "a historic opportunity that we should not miss."

"We are at the height of very dramatic diplomatic events, but its climax is still ahead of us," he said at the start of his government's weekly meeting on Sunday. I will leave for Washington, and tomorrow, I will meet my friend, US President Donald Trump, who will present the deal of the century. I think that an opportunity like this happens only once in history and we should not miss it. ”

"We have more friends in Israel today than in the White House, and today we have more opportunity than ever," Netanyahu said.

He added: "I have been talking with Trump and his team three years ago about our security needs. There have been dozens of talks that have lasted for hundreds of hours, and I have found in all these talks listening ears in the White House to Israel's vital needs."
