Corona virus is a large family of viruses that mainly infect animals, and it can sometimes infect humans.

These viruses are transmitted between humans by air, secretions or contact with contaminated bodies, especially in the winter season.

The symptoms of this virus include fever, respiratory infections, coughs, chest pain, sometimes shortness of breath, and digestive disorders.

Two types of corona viruses caused serious and sometimes deadly epidemics in humans, the first of which was the SARS virus and caused a global epidemic that spread in 2002-2003, and bats were the source.

The second is the respiratory syndrome in the Middle East, or what is known as the Mers virus, and was first discovered in 2012 in the Middle East. In 2020 a new corona virus was identified in China.

The "host" is supposed to be a live animal sold on the animal market in Wuhan, home to 11 million people.

Then the virus mutated and passed on to humans, it has adapted and is able to pass from person to person. The incubation period for the virus is believed to be seven days and up to 14 days.

As of now, there is no specific drug to fight these viruses, nor a vaccine against them.

To stop the spread of this virus, several international airports have installed thermal cameras to measure the temperature of people from China, while imposing quarantine on people with fever.
