Three are a 65-year-old woman and two grandchildren, 11 and 2 years old, the first time a new coronavirus has been identified in Malaysia. The three of them came from Wuhan with a family of six and arrived in Singapore this month.

Two of these, a 66-year-old man and a 37-year-old son, have been confirmed in Singapore to be infected with the new coronavirus and have been isolated and treated at a local hospital.


After that, the remaining four people continued to travel and visited Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

None of them had any symptoms such as fever, but the Ministry of Health of Malaysia, which was contacted by the Singaporean health authorities, conducted a test and found that three out of four people were infected on the night of the 24th. about it.

The three are currently being transported to a hospital near the capital, Kuala Lumpur, and being isolated and receiving treatment.

The Malaysian government has confirmed that five out of six families have been infected, and have sent the remaining one back to China.
