German police have arrested a twenty-six-year-old man, accusing him of killing 6 members of his family in the town of "Roth am See" in the state of Baden-Württemberg, according to German news agency DPA.

The competent investigating judge issued an arrest warrant for the young man, and the justification for the order was that there was a suspicion of killing six people and another suspected of attempting to kill two other people, and the police and prosecutors said the person was accused of killing both his parents, two half-brothers, one of his aunts, and one of his other relatives. .

The perpetrator, a shooting practitioner, was living in a house above a house that his father ran, the place where all these crimes occurred.

Investigators stated that the young man killed the six people with a gun and then called the police to inform them, and police officers arrested the suspect soon after in the building where the crime occurred, and the police said there was no evidence of other participants in the crime.

Area police chief Rainer Muller described the incident as a "family tragedy".

The police added that the dead were three men at the age of thirty-six, sixty-five, sixty-nine, and three women at the age of thirty-six, fifty-sixth and sixty-second.

According to the police statements, the suspect possessed a weapons license and lived in the same house in which he committed his crime, and a number of victims also lived in this house.

The police explained that two other people were injured, one of them in serious condition, noting that two boys, aged twelve and fourteen, had received threats from the suspect.

The motive of the crime was not clear, as the police did not make any statements about this matter, and the suspect did not mention a reason for his crime when he called the police to report it.

The police said that the suspect addressed the police with an "orderly and calm tone". Two of the victims' bodies were discovered inside the building and four in front of it. The crime weapon was found inside the house, and the police pushed about 100 of its personnel to follow the incident at the crime scene.
