On December 12, 2019, Russia sent the 95th automobile convoy of the Ministry of Emergencies with a humanitarian aid party to Donbass. Residents of the region received a cargo with a total weight of 435 tons.
In August 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Natalya Nikonorova, expressed gratitude to Russia for the many years of humanitarian support for the residents of Donbass.
