Samples have been taken and will be sent for analysis to Helsinki, informs infection consultant Markku Broas at Lapland's central hospital in Rovaniemi, to Yle.
A result is expected during the afternoon or evening. As the virus is new, the samples should be analyzed according to a special protocol to verify if it is Corona, thus it may take some time for an official confirmation to arrive.
