Almost two months after the death of her son, she decided to file a complaint. Thursday, the mother of the young man who had died in the Sainte-Anne metro station in Rennes, filed a complaint against X, reveals Le Mensuel de Rennes . By her gesture, the victim's mother, 20, wishes to put an end to these accidental falls in the metro stations of the Breton capital. Since line A was commissioned in 2002, around ten serious accidents have been reported.

On November 29, Raphael fell from a height of 12 meters. When he was going to Place Sainte-Anne to go party with friends, the young man sat on the handrail of the escalator of the metro station. For some unexplained reason, he rolled back and fell heavily on the platform. Transported in a very serious condition, the young man died a few hours later in the hospital.

A complete study of the stations

Following this accident, the Keolis company, which manages the public transport service of the Rennes conurbation (Star), had indicated that a complete study of the metro stations would be carried out by its services. The Sainte-Anne and Charles-de-Gaulle sites seem to be identified as the most accident-prone, in particular because of the significant height of the stairs and "wells".
