It is noted that an internal investigation is being conducted upon the appeal of the passenger of the flight dated January 23, 2020.

“The passenger’s appeal was submitted to the airline in connection with baggage service, in which three portable cages with pets were transported,” the message said.

The press service said that the flight was operated by the Sheremetyevo Handling operator, whose representatives contacted the passenger on the day of the incident, declaring their readiness to understand the situation and take all possible measures to resolve it.

Based on the results of the official investigation, the guilty employees who participated in the process of servicing baggage with animals on the flight will be punished. Also at the airport, repeated briefings are carried out in the baggage service units with pets.

The airport regretted the passenger of the flight, saying that they would do everything necessary to resolve the situation.
