Putin lifted a fallen cap of a Palestinian officer

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a visit to Bethlehem, picked up the guard cap of a Palestinian guard who fell to the floor.

Mahammad Atik, a Palestinian leader’s personal photographer, posted footage showing Putin noticed a cap lying on the floor as he walked past Palestinian officers.

The President of Russia stopped, raised his headgear and put it on the head of a military man. He also showed the officer a thumb up gesture.

Atik wrote that in this way the Russian leader showed respect for the Palestinian guard.
