One of those who will be in place is Joakim Åsberg from the Swedish Association of Academic Associations. He says that the network is local, but that it is hoped that it will spread to more cities around the country. The goal is for politicians to have more focus on welfare issues and they demand that the Riksdag and the government ensure that municipalities and regions fulfill their mission.

- Requirements and resources do not go together for those who work in welfare, says Joakim Åsberg.

He thinks that several parties at national level want to donate money to welfare.

- It is positive that things are starting to happen at national level. But we are not on target, we need a long-term view. There is a need for a broad commitment from the politicians, says Joakim Åsberg.
