On January 27, 1945, the Red Army released nearly 7,000 deportees from what was one of the largest death camps. Seventy-five years later, the duty to remember, as time goes by and the survivors die out, becomes imperative.

The international community gathered this week in Jerusalem (Israel) and Auschwitz (Poland) to remember.
