Bocuse receives a gold star - Charles Pietri - Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region

Thursday the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and its president Laurent Wauquiez decided to give a gold star to Maison Bocuse, during its traditional vows ceremony. One way to respond to the Michelin Guide having decided to withdraw its third star at L'Auberge du Pont de Collonge.

The world of gastronomy had experienced this as a shock. Many reactions followed to support the inn located in Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or, which has held three stars for 55 years. It is under these conditions that Laurent Wauquiez wanted to stand out.

Greetings from the Region: to Mr. Paul and his teams, whose immense cuisine has held more than half a century 3 stars and who will always keep them in our minds.

"This star is that of the heart. That one, nobody will come and take them ”, declared Laurent Wauquiez when giving this symbolic answer to Jérôme Bocuse, the son of Mr. Paul, and to Olivier Couvin, chef of the inn.
