No skier has stood out from the competition in the World Cup speed races since the start of the season, while two downhills and a super-G are scheduled in Bansko (Bulgaria) from Friday to see more clearly. .

The Bulgarian station has indeed recovered the canceled descent to Val d'Isère in December.

After three races in the discipline, eight different skiers took the podium: only the Swiss Corinne Suter managed to finish 2nd in Lake Louise (Canada) before winning Altenmarkt (Austria), which earned her the top ranking in the world of the specialty, but without margin on the competition.

Italian Olympic champion Sofia Goggia does not seem to have found the right settings yet (6th, 12th and 4th), while Austrian world champion Nicole Schmidhofer has alternated the good (victory on the 2nd downhill from Lake Louise) and the less good (14th at Altenmarkt).

The American ski queen Mikaela Shiffrin, widely at the top of the classification of the big globe thanks to the technical tests, she climbed on the podium once downhill (2nd at Lake Louise) and once in super-G (3rd at Saint-Moritz ).

In this discipline of which she is the champion of the globe, only two races out of seven have been disputed, leaving the German Viktoria Rebensburg slightly at the top of the classification.

The double world champion of Slovenian downhill Ilka Stuhec is on his side always looking for his best level after having been heavily hit in the left knee in Crans-Montana (Switzerland) last February.

The best French chances rest on Romane Miradoli.
