On Tuesday night, a truck overturned on Route 92 between Åsele and Dorotea. Yesterday it was salvaged from the site - which caused the road to be completely shut down and redirected. But the diversion was not really successful when several trucks got stuck on route 926 between Lavsjö and Lomsjö. The road was far too narrow, an ambulance trying to cross had to turn around and several people asked about the diversion.

But according to the Swedish Transport Administration, such a route had never been signposted.

- The signposted diversion went from road 90 and then onto E45 if you came from the west, if you came from the east it is road 931 and then E45. We have not made this recommendation at all, but then we have not followed ours, said the Swedish Transport Administration's press communicator Thomas Johansson during Wednesday night.

Swedish Transport Administration: "Wrong information"

But now the Swedish Transport Administration backs and admits to having gone out with the wrong information.

- The traffic management phoned this morning and told them that the wrong information had gone out. The diversion route (route 926) was first proposed, says Thomas Johansson.

But what do you say to those who remained standing for several hours and who you meant not following your diversion?

- We'll learn a lesson here. It was unhappy with the diversion and our information. What we have done during the day is that we should try to tighten up our routines and we have called for a meeting with the police and rescue leaders so that we can sharpen the routines so that the machinery works better, says Thomas Johansson.
