The Central Electoral Board has decided to require the president of the Parliament of Catalonia , Roger Torrent, to "immediately" proceed to comply with what was agreed on January 3 and today has ratified the Supreme Court. In short, withdraw the deed of the Parliament of Catalonia from Quim Torra.

The JEC urges Torrent to "carry out all the necessary procedures to make effective the loss of the status of the deputy Don Joaquim Torra i Pla" and, in addition, urges him to then send him all the documentation that certifies said withdrawal.

The Board, for its part, sends to the provincial Electoral Board of Barcelona and to the president of the Catalan Chamber a copy of the order of the Third Chamber of Contentious-Administrative Court of the Supreme Court in which the precautionary suspension raised by the Parliament is denied so that Torra could keep his deputy minutes.

Following the decision of the Supreme Court, the JEC considers that its agreement in favor of the disqualification of Torra is "fully executive" and therefore must be effective immediately.

Parliamentary sources consulted by THE WORLD indicate that after this step, in the event that the president of the Parliament, Roger Torrent, refused to execute the disqualification of Torra as a deputy would incur a crime of prevarication.
