23 January 2020 Ben 66 Daspo (Prohibition of access to sporting events) for a period of one year have been notified to as many fans of Nocerina following the incidents which took place on 7 December last, especially before the football game, valid for the Serie D championship, between Taranto and the bell team held in the 'Jacovone' stadium, in the Ionian capital. The policemen of the Police Headquarters of Taranto, who had set up a service for the reception of fans from Campania, intercepted the caravan, made up of eleven private cars, on state road 7, a few kilometers from the entrance to the city. Along the way that leads to the parking lot of the 'Iacovone' stadium reserved for guest supporters, the Nocera fans made themselves the authors of the throwing of large firecrackers and bottles that fortunately only did not cause more serious consequences.

At a later date, once they arrived near the sports facility, the same fans, most of whom dressed in the same way and masked on their faces, initially attempted, with violent ways, to resist identification. Only after a few frantic minutes and after having regularly proceeded with the recognition, was access to the sports facility allowed, except for six of them without an entrance ticket. At the end of the meeting, before they left, the agents searched the cars of the Campania fans with considerable difficulty (finding, up to the last, a strong resistance) recovering helmets, iron clubs, a truncheon, alcohol, eight smoke bombs and firecrackers of the forbidden kind, all then confiscated. The Daspo was issued for its behavior in some situations, violent and dangerous and in consideration of the material recovered in the cars which suggests the intention to start clashes with the local fans). The measures were notified by the staff of the Anti-Crime Police Division of the Taranto Police Headquarters, in collaboration with the Commissariat of Nocera Inferiore.
