They are suspected of 83 burglaries in a year, about one every four days. On Monday, six men aged between 19 and 49 were arrested in Bouguenais and Saint-Jean-de-Boiseau, near Nantes, report the gendarmes. The operation mobilized some 80 soldiers, who had been looking for this small band for several months.
Between October 2018 and November 2019, the suspects allegedly committed multiple "burglaries in businesses and residences", but also vehicle theft and inside, or even refusal to comply. Facts committed mainly in Loire-Atlantique, but also in Vendée and in Morbihan.
Three suspects imprisoned
The perpetrators were brought before the investigating magistrate at the Saint-Nazaire court. All have been indicted, pending judgment. Three of them were even locked up.
