Last week's explosion in a stairwell on Östermalm in Stockholm is described as "one of the most powerful in the region".

Police have arrested a man aged 35 suspected of the act. According to information to SVT News, the man has connections to the Bandidos sphere.

Also at the explosion in Hageby in Norrköping, which occurred on Wednesday morning, there are links to the criminal motorcycle environment. A man who has a leading role in the MC gang No surrender should have been the target of the act.

Conflict between motorcycle gangs

Sven Lindgren, police commissioner and expert on criminal motorcycle gangs, does not want to comment on the specific cases.

- But there is a conflict today between at least two criminal motorcycle organizations. It has to do with the establishment that No surrender is trying on, he says.

No surrender, which was formed in the Netherlands in 2013 and came to Sweden in 2017, is suspected to have received several explosions aimed at the past year.

- The three established - Hells Angels, Bandidos and Satudarah - want their criminal market in peace, says Sven Lindgren.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the explosion in Norrköping. Chamber Prosecutor Karin Sandén says they cannot rule out a connection to the double murder that occurred outside a nightclub in the city in December.

Been able to fight pretty freely

There has been less focus on the criminal gangs in recent years, according to Police Commissioner Sven Lindgren.

- All the power has gone to these other gangs and blasts. We have to pay that kind of price for today. But my great wish is that we get more resources to fight the mc-gang that we had good control of during the 90's and a good bit into the 00's.

Has the motorcycle gang been able to fight freely?

- Yeah, pretty free anyway. We do not have the same focus on them, says Sven Lindgren.
