In 2017, Keolis terminated the five-year service traffic agreement with Värmlandstrafik, because Keolis considered the traffic too ineffective against what it should be.

A year later, Keoli's Värmland traffic sued and demanded 83 million. Värmlandstrafik chose to submit a counter-notification for breach of contract.

On Thursday it was announced that the parties had agreed through a settlement.

- We are pleased to be able to put this dispute behind us. In order to avoid a prolonged and costly judicial process, we have chosen to reach an agreement on conciliation. The settlement means that Värmlandstrafik received payment from Keolis Sverige AB, says Jessika Lundgren, Värmlandstrafik and Jan Kilström, Keolis CEO, in a joint statement.
