“We urge the Ukrainian negotiators in Minsk not to follow the Poroshenko’s team and not waste time on meaningless attempts to revise the package of measures in order to remove from it all of Kiev’s obligations to the people of Donbass, and instead begin to finally implement this document in detail,” he quotes Nikonorov TASS.

According to her, making any amendments to the document is not only impractical, but also impossible.

Nikonorova also noted that the decisions of the December summit of the “Norman Four” did not mention any changes in the Minsk agreements.

Earlier, the representative of Ukraine in the working subgroup on political issues of the tripartite contact group (TKG) for the settlement in the Donbass, Alexei Reznikov, said that Kiev would insist on the revision of the Minsk agreements so that elections in the Donbass would take place only after Ukraine transferred control of the border.

On January 15, the Russian Foreign Ministry called the measures of Kiev to implement the Minsk Agreements insufficient.

As stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadim Pristayko, the Minsk agreements on the Donbass need adaptation.
