The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, expects Pedro Sánchez to give him an answer as soon as possible for a meeting. "With Spain we have the best relations. It is a problem of the agenda, it must be reconciled, " he said before a group of special international media envoys, including EL MUNDO before the question of whether Sánchez will receive him. However, he has asked to resolve the agenda as soon as possible. "Every day for me outside of Venezuela is a risk," he stressed, asking that Maduro's regime not be called "Government," because "it is simply a dictatorship."
Guaidó has assured that "Zapatero does not play any recognized role for me" and has requested an international tightening regarding Venezuela. "The sanctions are controversial, but they are necessary. The worst sanction for Venezuela is the dictatorship."
Guaidó is participating in the World Economic Forum in Davos in his tour to gather support. "You know that we are going to remain firm, despite the bullets," he previously told the audience. It will be received in Davos by the prime ministers of Austria, Greece and the Netherlands, among others.
