A global alliance formed to combat infectious diseases said Thursday that three separate research teams will begin work on developing possible vaccinations to prevent the corona virus, which has started to spread in China.

The coalition on preparedness to cope with an outbreak of infectious diseases (CIBI), which is involved in funding emergency projects, said that the plan includes at least one possible vaccination ready for clinical trials by next June.
