According to Maria Sharpilova, after a divorce in June 2019, her husband tricked her into taking her son and daughter, after which she did not allow them to see each other. In August, the Kurchatov District Court of Chelyabinsk, in her absence, ruled that the children should live with their father, and she could see them once a month for no more than three hours.

On Thursday, January 23, the appellate court ruled that the children would still stay with Anton Sharpilov, and Mary, according to her, is now allowed to see them two to three times a week.

Such a court decision does not suit the woman; she intends to appeal to the cassation instance.

“I want to participate in the lives of children, and not be a coming mother for a couple of hours a week,” said Maria RT. - I haven’t seen them for a long time, Anton didn’t let me see them. At the trial, he said that I had previously been unavailable. However, I called him several times and wrote statements to the police three times so that they would give me the opportunity to see my children at least at the time set by the court. ”

Mary wants the children to live with her. In her opinion, they should live with their mother, and not with the young cohabitant of her husband.

After a preliminary hearing in the regional court, Anton Sharpilov told RT that “I’m glad that his ex-wife began to be interested in children.” He did not give additional comments on the situation.

Sharpilov became the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Chelyabinsk Region in November 2019, after a divorce from his wife.
