Imad Murad - Doha

"Drink your coffee as if you are in Al-Aqsa", an innovative campaign in 23 cafes across the Qatari capital, Doha, aiming to revive the cause of Al-Aqsa in the hearts of Arab and Muslim youth in an unfamiliar way.

The campaign organized by the "Youth for Jerusalem - Women Branch" association, requires that the participating cafes present their drinks in cups containing messages reminiscent of the Al-Aqsa cause and the stationers therein, as well as the presence of screens displaying snapshots of the city of Jerusalem, and some signs that summarize the aim of the campaign, in addition to Songs that were played by the steadfastness of that city in the face of the Israeli occupation.

The aim of the unfamiliar form of the campaign is to reach out to the Arab and Islamic youth and introduce them to the question of Palestine, and to highlight the aesthetic, spiritual and epistemic aspect of the holy city. The organizers also made sure that the messages on the cups are in Arabic and English to reach the largest possible number of youth.
