“I would just like to admit my guilt on these points,” RIA Novosti quoted Burkov as saying in court.

Burkov confessed on two points out of five.

The judge ordered the sentencing on May 8, 2020.

In November, Burkov, whom the US authorities accuse of cyber fraud, declared his innocence in court.

Burkova was threatened with up to 80 years in prison on five criminal episodes related to hacking. Currently, the maximum term that he faces is 15 years in prison.

Burkov was detained in Israel in 2015 and extradited to the United States in November 2019.
