A judge allows Annabella Sciorra, actress of 'The Sopranos', to testify against Weinstein

After more than a quarter century of silence, actress Annabella Sciorra publicly confronted her alleged aggressor, Harvey Weinstein, with a heartbreaking testimony. He did so during the trial held in New York against the former film producer, the first in a chain of statements that the accusation hopes will serve to prove a model of Weinstein's conduct and order him to spend the rest of his days between bars. It's the big date of the #MeToo movement with justice.

Containing tears and visibly excited, the 59-year-old performer, known for her roles in 'The Sopranos' and 'The Hand that Rocks the Cradle', recounted how Weinstein raped her at her Manhattan home in 1993 after a business dinner . After taking her to her apartment, the producer and founder of The Weinstein company, pushed through the house, dragged the actress to the bedroom and laid her on the bed.

"I can't say exactly when he took off his pants or what exactly happened," said the actress. "I don't think he took off his shirt completely," submitted by the strength and weight of Weinstein, who managed to hold his hands before penetrating it.

"While trying to get it off me, I hit him and kicked him," he continued. "Then he put his hands on my head to hold them, he climbed on top of me and raped me. He put his penis inside my vagina . He had sex while I tried to fight, but I could no longer fight because my hands were locked."

Weinstein continued to ejaculate on her dress, showing off her level of precision. "I have perfect timing , " insists Sciorra who said her alleged rapist before proceeding to practice oral sex to the actress despite her resistance. The Italian-born interpreter says there was not much he could do at that point. "My body was completely blocked," he explained. "It was so disgusting that my body started shaking in a very unusual way."

Weinstein's defense, meanwhile, tried to show that the actress consumed a lot of alcohol at that time and that that particular night, at the end of 1993, drank a lot too. Sciorra claimed to have drunk only a glass of wine, although he could not confirm with certainty the address of the house where he lived then in Manhattan. He also admitted having to pay $ 360,000 after being sued by his landlord for causing serious damage to the apartment.

Sciorra also explained that he did not call the police at that time because it was someone he knew and did not want to star in a scandal. It took weeks to tell someone close what had happened.

Sciorra's testimony may be key in the trial in which Weinstein faces five charges against two women, a production assistant, Mimi Haleyi , and another who could have been raped in a Manhattan hotel in 2013 and has Wanted to remain anonymous. Only two of a series of up to 80 women who have accused Weinstein of various acts of sexual harassment in recent years. In addition to the trial in New York, Weinstein must face a trial in Los Angeles and a possible extradition to the United Kingdom for the crimes he may have committed in London.
