Initially, the police were alerted to five addresses in the same area in Sätra. The first alarm came just before 4 o'clock on Porfyrvägen.

Within an hour, cars had started burning at another four addresses in Sätra. According to the police, young people must have been seen in connection with the fires and rockets should also have been fired.

"Any reason to believe that there is a connection"

- We all have reason to believe that there is a connection between the fires because there is a connection in time and place, says Andreas Örth, RLC commander of the police.

A total of at least 14 cars have been burned or damaged in the fires. At one of the addresses, the fire also spread to an adjacent sophus who received minor injuries. The police operation is still ongoing.

No person should have been injured in connection with the fires.
