It was in February 2019 that a 15-year-old boy was found in a forest area in Märsta. A schoolmate of the boy was arrested on suspicion of murder. The man has admitted that he killed the 15-year-old but claimed it was not intentional.

In July, the man at Attunda District Court was sentenced to prison and deportation for the murder. The man appealed against the verdict to the High Court, which then noted deficiencies in the interpretation and in September it was announced that the trial must be re-instated.

In December came the court's verdict: six and a half years in prison and life imprisonment.

Thus, the judgment is appealed to the Supreme Court. The verdict should be torn down, or the sentence should be milder, writes the convicted lawyer in the appeal.
