According to RIA Novosti with reference to the department, the debt is 2.114 billion rubles.

Of the total unpaid wages as of January 1, 2020, the debts formed in 2019 account for 992.7 million rubles (47%), in 2018 - 495.1 million rubles (23.4%), in 2017 and previously - 626.4 million rubles (29.6%).

It is specified that the debt was formed in a number of areas of activity and was distributed as follows: manufacturing - 46%; construction - 17%; mining operations - 14%; agriculture, hunting and the provision of services in these areas, logging - 8%; transport - 7%.

In December, URA.RU reported that the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, had instructed the workers of the Chelyabinsk plant to understand the situation with non-payment of salaries.
