Padua, 9.4 tons of pork seized from China: swine fever risk

Almost 9.5 tons of pork, imported into the EU from China in violation of customs and health regulations, were seized by the Padua finance guard, due to the danger of contamination of African swine fever. The operation was carried out in collaboration with the veterinary service and the Sian of the Ulss 6 of the Veneto region. The financiers seized, for serious and repeated irregularities, the commercial activity where the meat was found.
