North Korea confirms appointment of new head of defense ministry

According to the agency, the new Minister of Defense previously led key construction projects in the DPRK.

Earlier it was reported that the chairman of the DPRK Committee on Unification of the Homeland, Ri Song Gwon, became the new Foreign Minister of North Korea.

The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the Russian side is aware of a reshuffle in the North Korean Foreign Ministry.
