Former journalist Isabelle Saporta, support of the candidate for mayor of Paris Gaspard Gantzer, calls for creating a "climate coalition" with contours similar to those evoked by the ecologist David Belliard and the dissident LREM Cédric Villani, Wednesday with the AFP.

"I am working for a climate coalition to see the light of day with all people of good will, so that ecology is at the center," said Ms. Saporta, confirming remarks made to the Parisian. She cited David Belliard, Cédric Villani, the "socialists", Gaspard Gantzer or even Danielle Simonnet as potential members of this coalition.

However, she denied reports from Le Monde that she already planned to join EELV to head the list in the 14th arrondissement, stating that she would indeed go to a meeting with these activists.

"You have to go beyond your personal ambitions, there is no time to lose," said the former RTL columnist, when asked about the intentions of Gaspard Gantzer, founder of "Parisiennes, Parisiens", for whom the intentions of vote don't take off.

"When David Belliard took this step" to propose a climate coalition in Paris, "a courageous step", "this is what I dreamed of, and therefore I will put all my strength" into making the alliance happen, said Isabelle Saporta, without saying whether it would concern the 1st or the second round.

"I came back to Gaspard Gantzer because it allowed me to campaign, to defend positions and to meet people freely. Because I knew that if I went to EELV, I would be brought back to my marital status" companion of the Yannick Jadot MEP, she said.
